The University Campus Program in Ashdod is launched!!!

The construction project for the SCE College of Engineering campus in Ashdod has finally begun, marking a major milestone for the city of Ashdod and for higher education in the region. This ambitious project, designed to enrich Ashdod’s educational offerings, includes the construction of two buildings that will house an entrepreneurship and innovation center, a modern library, state-of-the-art classrooms, state-of-the-art laboratories and various academic departments. The project will cover an impressive area of ​​14,000 square meters, at a total cost of NIS 111 million.

Minrav was selected as the main contractor to build the campus in Ashdod, consolidating its key role in the city’s infrastructure development. Construction will begin immediately after Passover and is expected to last 25 months. This project represents a significant step forward for Ashdod, reinforcing its position as an academic and innovation center.

Behind this visionary initiative in Ashdod are SCE Founder Prof. Yehuda Hadad and the College’s CEO Zohar Wolpert Cohen. Together, they have worked for years to realize this vision and provide Ashdod with a university campus of excellence.

The campus design was entrusted to the renowned architect David Kenpo of Kenpo Kalimor Architects. The March 10, 2025 kickoff meeting in Ashdod featured several key figures: Prof. Yehuda Hadad, Zohar Wolpert Cohen, SCE Engineer Amichai Asenfi, and Kidan Project Manager Dima Gorukhovsky. Minrav representatives were also present, with Minrav Construction CEO Lior Einav, Business Development Vice President Avi Ben Zaken, and Bidding and Engineering Vice President Merom Itzhaki.

This campus project in Ashdod is more than just a building: it symbolizes the future of higher education and innovation in the city. Ashdod is set to welcome an institution that will foster the training of the next generation of engineers and entrepreneurs, while stimulating the economic and technological growth of the region.
